Our Team

  • Marie Williamson

I have taught a variety of styles of group exercise classes since 1995 and have earned certifications for group exercise, Pilates, and Piyo. I have also been practicing as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2010. My formal education and experience working with patients with a wide range of deficits has significantly impacted my approach as an instructor.

Currently I am teaching a Yoga/Pilates based class. My focus is on not only strengthening core and stabilizing musculature, but also to have participants leave with a little more information about how their musculoskeletal system works.

All if that sounds super serious…I like to think that my classes are relaxed, fun and welcoming to all.

  • Marcia Hudgel

Marcia Hudgel has been teaching yoga since 2010. She earned her 200 hour certification from the Jivasara Yoga School based in Ohio, which combines the philosophy of Jivamukti Yoga, which she is drawn to, and technique of Anusara Yoga.

Over the past 12 years, she has taught 1000s of hours of classes, workshops, and has been part of a teacher training program. She has continued to expand her knowledge through various continuing education courses over the years, including trauma-based yoga, mindfulness, and philosophy courses.

Her classes are a light-hearted flow, that are accessible to various levels of experience. Marcia loves to combine the physical practice with basic yoga philosophy, encouraging participants to live their yoga off the mat.

She and her husband moved to Cottage Grove in 2017 and are so grateful for the warm welcome they have felt from this amazing community.

  • Samantha Duncan

I’ve been teaching fitness classes since 2009, everything from core to HIIT. I started the Health Hub in 2017 as a way to create community around intergenerational health and wellness. My certifications include ACE Group Fitness Professional, Functional Aging Institute Group Fitness, Institute for Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and Silver Sneakers Flex Instructor.

My vision for South Lane is a thriving, healthy, and happy community with a wide variety of resources and activities for all ages.
